Benoît Marguet is an atypical viticulturist but with a big heart who makes wines with great serenity and a certain shamanic philosophy. There is no doubt that when you walk through the gates of the estate, where you are welcomed by a graceful Buddha statue in the center of the courtyard, a sense of fulfillment surrounds you…
Located in the Grand Cru village of Ambonnay, Champagne Marguet is a family estate founded in 1870. Today, Benoît – 5th generation of winegrowers – looks after the Estate’s 8 hectares located mainly on the Ambonnay terroir.
. After taking over the family estate, Benoît decided to undertake big changes in the way of doing things. It completely converted the 8 hectares to the biodynamic approach with the use of agriculture that employs phytotherapy -infusion and decoction of medicinal plants- and aromatherapy agriculture since 2009. A philosophy in which the well-being of its soil, the natural balance of things and the favoring of life are a priority.
